This flow meter is a clamp-on type ultrasonic flow meter (NU2) that can measure the fluid flow from the outside of the piping, with the addition of a DIN rail mount type. This flow meter adapt propagation time difference method, which calculates flow velocity based on the time difference of ultrasonic waves transmitted in both the forward and reverse directions from each detector, and then converts this into flow rate. Since it measures from outside the piping, it is not affected by the corrosiveness of liquids, allowing for a wide variety of liquids to be measured. Additionally, the transducer is compact and lightweight, making it easy to handle, and can be mounted on a DIN rail like other devices, facilitating installation in various control panels and similar setups.
